MARITIME PHOTOGRAPHER
MARITIME & MILITARY
With over 30 years as a professional photographer, I have extensive experience working within the maritime and military environment and would welcome commissions for manufacturers and publications within the maritime, travel and defence industry to photograph ships, equipment or people within in this environment.
I have the experience of working at sea on commercial and military platforms, working in harsh, confined or extreme conditions and working at height. I also have considerable experience flying in rotary or fixed-wing platforms, working and working in sub-surface operations and can work under compression.
I am available to photograph inshore or offshore maritime tasks, and to work with companies or publications to photograph equipment, personnel or evolutions within the civil or military environment. No task is too small, and I would be pleased to provide a quotation for daily or multiple day’s shooting, either in Scotland, the UK or Worldwide.
I have completed the “Dunker” helicopter escape training and various sea-survival courses several times, plus I hold a PADI open water divers certification and RYA coxn’s certificate for motor boats and ribs. I am also aware and understand the restrictions and implications that maritime environments can generate, especially safety and confidentiality.
